Denim electives

Hi People!

I am going to complain, complain a lot.

First of all, why is it so windy here in Denmark? Okay, maybe not why, but why there is this rule that the wind is ALWAYS straight on your face? So going down on a hill  meets with making bigger effort than riding up?

Secondly, why am I freezing like it is a winter time already? I ordered sweatpants and new hoodie, and I cannot imagine my life without EMU boots. Say whatever you want to say, they're the warmest shoes ever.  And, I accidentally ordered them 2 sizes smaller, so they're not looking rusty, after 2 weeks they're just perfect. 

And, last complaint, where is my energy? I haven't seen it for a while. It's just gone. In summer I could wake up at 5.00 and now I cannot open my eyes at 7. It's so dark outside, it begins to be OK at 7.30. I heard about those anti depression lights that are programmed to wake you up whenever you desire with the "natural light". Mum, please!!! That would really help me..

Anyways, we started denim electives. I love denim, still I regret I couldnt do both re-design and denim at the same time, It looks super cool what guys are doing there!

The topic for my inspiration is Amazonia. We are supposed to discover as many denim fabric manipulations as it is possible. I am still in process and lacking the time hehe :)

From my personal projects, I am still weaving. This black is the finished order I made, I just sent it today, hopefully the customer will be happy:)

And yay! I can finally see !

Heh, I had some little troubles with seeing things that are far away. My image was a little blurry, now it's amazingly sharp..:)

Knitwear + weaving

After a short break in Poland I fot back to my business in Denmark.

Besides my studies I am having several own projects, which I wish I had more time to focus on!

That's a really nice change after doing literally nothing in Belgium, I again feel that world needs me. In weaving and knitting at least. Having busy life is much better, when I have a lot of things to do I can schedule my time better, for instance in Brussels I had plenty of time but not a will to do workouts, and there I am on my last legs coming back from my projects and sweating with DVD fitness movies between 22.00- 24.00.

I have really good sleep after.

So I like my life in Denmark. 

And I like my bubble sweaters and weaved tops!

Currently I am working on a black weaved top which has to be similar to the white one. I already did one in black but I got so concerned that it has to be perfect that it stopped being original anymore, hehe :)

I promised to show photos I took for my friend, right?

So ladies and gents, today I present you the final photos of Olga Kincel's creative form project!

As a model we had beautiful Kristine from Denmark. She was incredibly amazing. She behaved like a real professional model. Cold as hell and standing with barely no clothes? No problem for her. Going in to the cold water? No problem either! 

Her poses... everything exaggerated the lines and shapes of Olga's garment.

I was really glad with the photos I took, I hope Olga is as well :) I really like these friends collaborations! Although I asked her for nothing for this pleasure, she bought me my favourite wine... So kind :)

Now, let's be quiet, I encourage you to take a deep look in these photos. It was raining and cold, but we did it... Enjoy!
